Connected assistants

How to connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to your business, what it can do, and how to disconnect it.

An assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can read your business and, if you let it, mark dishes sold out. It acts as you: with what your role allows and nothing more, and only in the business you pick.

Who can: anyone on the team connects an assistant for themselves. In Assistants, in the sidebar, each person sees the ones they connected; the owner and admins see the whole team's and can disconnect any of them.

Connect an assistant

  1. In the assistant, add Restoman as a connector with the address https://api.restoman.com.ar/mcp.
  2. The assistant opens Restoman. If you are not signed in, sign in with your email and the code you receive.
  3. If you are part of more than one business, pick the one to connect it to and tap Continue.
  4. Check what you let it do. Whatever only reads comes ticked; whatever makes changes, like Mark dishes sold out or back on sale, you tick yourself if you want it.
  5. Tap Allow. To not connect it, tap Don't allow.

The app chooses the assistant's name itself: connect it only if you opened it.

What it can do

  • See the menu and what is sold out at each location.
  • See the orders, a location's takeaway orders.
  • See the sales, as in the summary.
  • Mark dishes sold out or back on sale, as in sold out.

It can never take payments, give refunds or change people or roles. If your role does not allow something, the assistant cannot do it either. What it changes shows in the activity under your name, "via" the assistant.

Disconnect an assistant

  1. Open Assistants.
  2. On the assistant, tap Disconnect and confirm.

It stops being able to use Restoman at once. To use it again, connect it again.

What each notice means

Notice What it means
This request no longer works More than ten minutes went by, or the link changed. Connect again from the app.
Choose at least one permission to continue. You unticked everything: tick at least one, or tap Don't allow.
While you view Restoman as someone else, you cannot connect assistants for them. Restoman's support never connects assistants on anyone's behalf.
