# Create your business

> You create your account with your email and name your restaurant. In a minute you have the dashboard to add your menu.

Anyone can bring their restaurant to Restoman: you create your account and your business from the dashboard, without waiting for anyone.

**Who can:** anyone who signs in with their email or with Google. Restoman team accounts can't own a business.

## Create your account

1. On restoman.com.ar, tap **Try Restoman**. It takes you to **Create your account**.
2. Enter your email and tap **Send code**, or tap **Continue with Google** if it's there.
3. Enter the 6-digit code we emailed you.

Creating your account is the same as [signing in](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/ingresar.md) for the first time: if you already have one, you sign in to it.

## Create the business

If you aren't part of any business yet, after you sign in you see **Let's get started**:

1. Enter the **Restaurant name**: it's the one your customers see on the menu. You can change it later.
2. Check **Your menu's address**. It fills in from the name, and you can change it: use only lowercase letters, numbers and hyphens, for example `bibis-palermo`. It's where your customers open the menu, and also your business's address in the dashboard.
3. Tap **Create my restaurant**.

That's it: you're the business's owner, and Restoman creates its first location, with the same name and an empty menu. It takes you to the [home page](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/inicio.md), where **Getting started** tells you what's left before your customers can order: add the [menu](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/cartas.md), the [hours](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/horario.md), connect [Mercado Pago](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/pagos.md) and publish the location in [Locations](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/locales.md). Until you publish it, nobody sees your menu.

If someone invited you to a business, after you sign in you go to [My account](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/mi-cuenta.md), where the invitation is. If you signed in with another email, tap **Sign out and use the right one**, below the card.

## Another business

In **Your businesses** or in [My account](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/mi-cuenta.md), tap **Create a business**. You can own up to 5 businesses.

## What each message means

| Message                                                | What happened and what to do                                                           |
| ------------------------------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| Another restaurant already uses that address           | Another menu already has that address. Try another, for example with the neighborhood. |
| That address is reserved for Restoman's own pages      | Some words belong to Restoman. Try another.                                            |
| Restoman team accounts can't own a business            | Sign in with another email.                                                            |
| To create a business, sign in with your email          | You signed in with your phone, as a customer. Sign out and sign in with your email.    |
| You've reached the most businesses you can own for now | You already own 5 businesses. If you need more, write to us.                           |
