# Public MCPs and agents

> The MCP servers and A2A agents that read Restoman's Guide and menus with no account, and how to call them.

The Guide and the menus each have an MCP server and an A2A agent. They're read-only, need no account, and answer the same as the pages show.

## How to call them

All four take one JSON-RPC 2.0 message per `POST`, with `Content-Type: application/json`, up to 16 KB. Agents send no `Origin`; an `Origin` from another site gets `403`.

## The Guide's MCP

`https://docs.restoman.com.ar/mcp`, with two tools:

- `search_docs` (`query`, `locale`): up to ten matching guides as JSON, best first, each with its page and its markdown.
- `get_doc` (`slug`, `locale`): one whole guide as markdown.

`locale` is `es-AR`, the default, or `en-US`. Its card: `https://docs.restoman.com.ar/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`.

## The menus' MCP

`https://menu.restoman.com.ar/mcp`, with four tools:

- `list_restaurants` (`query`, `locale`): the published restaurants, by the name diners see, with their menu and its markdown.
- `get_menu` (`slug`, `locale`): a restaurant's menu as markdown: its details, its hours and closures, and every dish with its price and options.
- `search_dishes` (`slug`, `query`, `locale`): the matching dishes on a menu as JSON, with prices in centavos.
- `get_dish` (`slug`, `dish`, `locale`): one dish as markdown, with its options.

What's sold out isn't there: it changes by the minute, and the menu's page shows it. Its card: `https://menu.restoman.com.ar/.well-known/mcp/server-card.json`.

## The A2A agents

Two A2A (Agent2Agent) agents answer in natural language, in Spanish or English:

- **Restoman Guía**, at `https://docs.restoman.com.ar/a2a`: answers with the best-matching guide, whole, and the others as links.
- **Restoman menus**, at `https://menu.restoman.com.ar/a2a`: given a restaurant's name, answers its menu; if you also name a dish, the dishes on its menu that match.

They're retrieval, with no language model: they search the guides and the menus, they don't reason. They speak A2A 1.0 (with the `A2A-Version: 1.0` header, the `SendMessage` method) and 0.3 (no header, `message/send`), and answer every message with a message, in markdown and as JSON. They make no tasks, stream nothing and send no notifications. Their cards are at each site's `/.well-known/agent-card.json`.

An example:

```sh
curl https://menu.restoman.com.ar/a2a \
  -H 'content-type: application/json' -H 'a2a-version: 1.0' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"SendMessage","params":{"message":{"messageId":"1","role":"ROLE_USER","parts":[{"text":"What does Bibis Palermo serve?"}]}}}'
```

A data part with `slug` (or `query`) and `locale` says exactly what you're asking when the text isn't enough.
