# Restoman Guide

> How to use the Restoman dashboard step by step: your team, locations and roles, the menu, what's sold out, tables and their QR codes, and the kitchen screen.

Short guides for owners, admins and staff: what each screen of the dashboard does, who can use it and what each message means.

## Getting started

- [Sign in to Restoman](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/ingresar.md): You sign in with your email and a 6-digit code we send you. There's no password.
- [Choose a business](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/elegir-negocio.md): If you work at more than one business, you choose which one to work in and switch between them whenever you like.
- [My account](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/mi-cuenta.md): Your name and email, the invitations you've been sent, your businesses and the language you see Restoman in.
- [The business's home](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/inicio.md): The first page of every business, with your roles, the locations you can reach and the sections you can use.

## Your team

- [Your team](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/equipo.md): Who works at your business, with which roles and at which locations, and the invitations still pending.
- [Invite someone](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/invitar.md): You send them an email with a link to join the business, with their roles and their locations. The invitation lasts 7 days.
- [Accept an invitation](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/aceptar-invitacion.md): What to do when you're invited to a business, and what each message means if the invitation can't be accepted.
- [Change someone's roles](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/editar-persona.md): You change a person's roles, their location access and the locations where they work.
- [Remove someone or leave the business](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/quitar-o-salir.md): You take a person out of the business, or you leave it yourself. The invitations they sent that are still pending are canceled.
- [Transfer ownership](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/transferir-propiedad.md): The owner offers the business to someone else in it. The proposal is accepted by email and lasts 72 hours.
- [Shifts](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/turnos.md): You plan each location's week, who works each day and when, shifts past midnight included.

## Your business

- [Locations](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/locales.md): You add, edit, archive and reactivate the business's locations. Each one has its digital menu and a unique identifier.
- [Roles](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/roles.md): What each person can do. Restoman's roles come ready-made; you create custom roles yourself, with their permissions.
- [Activity](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/actividad.md): The record of what happened in your business, who did it and when, including what Restoman support did.
- [Tables and QR](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/mesas.md): You arrange a location's tables by section, choose which ones take orders, print their QR codes and regenerate one when needed.
- [Opening hours](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/horario.md): You set the days and times each location is open, ranges past midnight included, and the holidays it stays closed.
- [Connecting Mercado Pago](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/pagos.md): You connect the business's Mercado Pago account to take payment for orders, confirm it after a transfer, and disconnect it.
- [Location settings](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/ajustes.md): Each location's logo, cover photo, menu colour and style, what customers see, takeaway orders, the pause and tips.
- [Sales summary](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/resumen.md): How much the business sold today, this week, this month or all time, the average ticket, kitchen time, best sellers and the spreadsheet to download.
- [Write to support](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/soporte.md): You write to the Restoman team from the dashboard and follow your questions and their answers in My questions.
- [Connected assistants](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/asistentes.md): How to connect Claude, ChatGPT or another assistant to your business, what it can do, and how to disconnect it.
- [Your menu on Google](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/google.md): Put the link to your location's digital menu on your Google Business Profile, so people who find you on Google or Maps open it from there.
- [Food court stalls](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/puestos.md): The locations selling at your food court, your business's or others', since when, and whether diners can see them yet.

## The menu

- [Menus and categories](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/cartas.md): You build each location's menu with its categories, in the order your customers see them, and put the products in each one.
- [Products](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/productos.md): You enter each product once, with its price, its description and where it appears, and use it in as many menus as you like.
- [Option groups](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/opciones.md): What customers choose when ordering, such as the combo, the doneness or the sauces. Created once and used by as many products as you like.
- [Product photos](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/fotos.md): You give each product a photo, as JPG, PNG or WebP up to 5 MB, and your customers see it on the digital menu.
- [Sold out](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/agotados.md): You mark what ran out at a location, until tomorrow or until you reactivate it. A dish whose required options sold out can't be ordered either.
- [Promo codes](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/descuentos.md): You create promo codes, a percentage or a fixed amount off, that your customers type in the cart when they order takeaway.
- [Stock](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/stock.md): You enter the business's ingredients and each product's recipe; each location counts its own, and paid orders take them off by themselves.
- [Kitchen](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/cocina.md): The screen for the kitchen's iPad: you sell out a dish or an option in two taps, in high contrast. Tickets will arrive there.

## Orders

- [Takeaway orders](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/pedidos.md): Each location's takeaway orders, newest first: where each one stands, what the customer ordered, how they paid, and the refund that didn't go through.
- [The counter](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/mostrador.md): The screen for the counter's computer: takeaway orders arrive with a sound, the ticket prints by itself and you mark when it is ready.
- [Reviews](https://docs.restoman.com.ar/en/guia/resenas.md): What customers say about each takeaway order, with their stars, and how to reply. Only your team and the person who left a review see it.
